Zambales has many beaches and coves to offer. One of the increasingly popular spots here is the Pundaquit beach, where you can swim, snorkel, island hop and sip a glass of fresh honey-lemon-cucumber drink. Cheers!
Trekking on Mount Pinatubo is an easy peasy, rewarding trip. You start off riding a 4×4 off-road vehicle then hiking on foot and end up mesmerising a jaw-dropping view. We stayed at Patar beach and found the Wonderful Cave to be more than wonderful (wink, wink). *This is day 5 of my two-week cheap backpacking post series.

From 2013 to 2016 (updated: also 2017), Palawan was hailed as the “World’s Best Island” according to Travel + Leisure and “Best Islands in the World: Readers’ Choice Awards 2015” by Condé Nast Traveler. It’s no wonder Palawan was given such prestigious awards and worldwide recognition that equals other world’s famous islands, such as Santorini, Maldives and the French Polynesia.
If you need a little break from lying in a hammock by the beach or exploring a cultural city during holidays, then visiting the Underground River in Palawan, Philippines is a fantastic option to consider on your next vacation.
